Hello and thank you for participating in the TFV #3 Tournament. On this webpage you will find important information. Please share with your teams, parents and spectators. 

There is an entrance fee for all spectators.  Doors will open 30 minutes before scheduled start time.   Coaches on the team roster and players are free. If you are not on the roster expect to pay the entry fee.

Entry Fee (CASH ONLY):

  • Ages 13 and up: $10.00
  • Ages 12 and under: $5.00
  • Wrist band must be placed on your wrist. If you are unable to place the band on your wrist, get with someone that is live streaming it for you to watch it in the parking lot.
  • We encourage exact change to move the gate entrance line quicker.

Please do not park in front of the businesses that are open on Saturday:

  • Carsandpickups.com front office parking (7am-5pm)
  • Texas Fleet Supply front office parking (7am-1pm)
  • Esses Racing inside gated black fence

If a vehicle is parked in a non-parking area your vehicle will be towed at your own expense. 

Hello and thank you for registering for our TFV #3 Tournament.  Please read through this email. It contains all the information you need for Saturday's tournament.  Please remember this tournament is a fundraiser for our club to help with the future purchase of a building.  We thank you for attending our site and thank you for your support.

 

This will be an am pool and it will start at approximately 8am.  Early spectators are allowed to enter briefly to purchase their wrist bands if the doors are open.  However, they must exit and wait to enter TFS until the facility is open.  Doors will officially open for spectators, coaches, and players once the facility is ready to open.  

 

This site does not have an HVAC system so please dress according to the weather.  

Directions: Coming from North Austin, exit Robert S Light, take a right at the stop sign, and head down about a mile.  We will be on your left side.

Small Concessions will be provided (Fundraiser):  sports drink, chips, candy, and water.  Other food is not allowed in the facility.  Do not bring in coffee, tumblers, or Stanley cups/mugs (not allowed at all).  You will not be permitted to enter with these items.  Please do not be the person that argues at the door.  Water bottles are allowed.

 

5 teams on 2 courts.  CRT 1 & 2:  

Pool play is 2 sets to 25.   Teams will need to provide a work crew for two courts. If you need an extra scorekeeper or R1, please let me know. Parents are allowed to Libero track and flip score.

 

Warmup is 2-4-4 and will start as soon as the previous match has concluded. We will enforce USAV rules for teams that are not at their court ready to play or officiate.  CRT 1 is located in front of the front desk and CRT 2 is located in front of the weight room.  

 

Coaches will need to check-in with the Tournament Director Stephanie Malay, upon arrival at the front desk (no coaches meeting).  An announcement will be made over the speaker system telling coaches when to call captains for the first match coin toss.  Medals will be given for 1st,  2nd, and 3rd place.  Teams will not switch sides or advance.  PA system will be used between matches to make sure courts stay on time and to help announce cars that are illegally parked.  You do not have to stop playing or warm up during announcements. Player bags must be on the chairs or under the chairs.  Stanleys are not allowed in the gym or on the court.

 

Coaches, as a reminder TFV will not input scores in AES.  We will provide tournament pool scores and team codes.  Please make sure you take a picture of your pool information/score sheet your teams played against to allow for you to input the scores on AES.

Please make sure your team and their families also know the following:

Wristband must be placed on your wrist.  If you are unable to place the band on your wrist, get with someone that is live streaming it for you to watch it in the parking lot.

 

If a vehicle is parked in a non-parking area your vehicle will be towed at your own expense (allowed parking area is attached (green sections (see attachment)) red sections are non-parking areas).  Do not park at the other businesses on site (besides Blue Label Granite), they will tow your car.  

 

Coaches, if you are unsure if your team is done with all assignments, please get with the tournament director Stephanie Malay. 

Chairs are permitted on the concrete outside the yellow and black tape.     

If your child/team member is not playing you will need to wait outside along with any team member that is not actively working the match.  Players and coaches will need to communicate with each other when it is time to come inside.  Please do not be that parent that is holding up the match until you clear the facility so the match can start.  Do not leave your chair in the facility if your child is not playing.  

Spectators please do not place your chair in front of the exit doors or prop open the exit doors.

If the bay doors are open, please do not throw trash outside the gate.

Food tables and tents are not allowed outside in the parking lot.  However, tents can be used for shade.

We have a restroom inside the facility and two portable restrooms outside.

As a reminder no outside food/meals or drinks are allowed in the facility this would include QT, Whataburger and other fast food places.     

Players are allowed to bring in water bottles/small individual size snacks inside their bags. 

Ice chests/igloos are not allowed.

Teams, please clean up after yourselves

A court manager or the Tournament Director will come around and pick up the pool sheets.

Teams and spectators will need to stay in the designated areas while in the facility.

No one is allowed in the weight room.

Spectators that get out of hand will be asked to leave immediately (refund will not be given).  There will be no warnings.  If there is a score discrepancy, get with your coach or ask for the tournament director; Stephanie Malay.

Teams that are playing each other will use a game ball provided by either team.

 

Things to remember:

  • Please remember no outside food or drinks are allowed in the gyms.

  • There is one entrance to enter the facility.  Side doors must remain closed at all times.

  • TopFlight Sports is about 3-5 miles from Cabelas and downtown Buda.

 

We apologize for many of the regulations and rules. However, we know all these policies will help this tournament run smooth. Again, thank you for participating in this tournament.
